Pros
If you are full time, you are working a minimum of 40 hours a week. You won't ever get sent home early, even if it's dead.
Cons
The people there are thee rudest I've ever dealt with. You are treated as a number, there are a lot of politics and suspicious favoritism. Plus the surrounding area is flat out depressing. With a casino making as much money as it does, it really should take care of its city better.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your cooks better. There are some that have more experience and actually have an education that are being treated like fast food cooks. Plus the casino is desperately short on cooks, and most if not all of the current ones are being overworked. Quality of food has plummeted and the ingredients we use are terrible. The steaks you charge 25+$ for are cheap and not only take forever to cook because of their cut, but are injected with salt water, thus making them extremely inedible once they cook more than medium rare. Front of house staff consistently have no idea what they are doing, the restaurants are the most unorganized that I've ever witnessed, and the bar tenders have no idea what the food even looks like when they order it.
